stanley and the nut - lutruwita / tasmania

Beautiful Stanley. The most accidentally-Wes-Anderson township, with beautiful natural surrounds including 'the nut' -  a sheer-sided, flat-topped volcanic plug that towers 143m over the historic fishing town on the north-west coast. I've illustrated everything I saw on my last trip there from the historic town and pub, sparkling wharf, and the whale that was giving birth in the bay at the time - such a magical spot in northern lutruwita / Tasmania.
